Roads are closing throughout the state's north as floods wreak havoc.
Tasmania Police has issued a warning to any motorists planning to travel, particularly those in the north and northwest, to be aware of the closed roads and to expect conditions to "deteriorate fast" as heavy rain continues to fall.
Road conditions will be hazardous in sections of the North West Coast, Central North, North East, and Central Plateau between Wednesday and Friday due to reduced visibility caused by heavy rain.
